Radosław Chorab explores the delicate balance between presence and absence through painting understood as an act of return and repetition. Arising from a sense of higher necessity rather than choice, his practice focuses less on what thepainting depicts and more on how it is painted, the very way the image is carried out becomes a form of speaking.
His works draw on motifs of domesticity, interiors, and family. Through layered textures and subtle distortions, Chorab explores themes ofmemory, loss, and the fragility of both body and home, inviting viewers to notice what remains overlooked, forgotten, or unspoken.
